So!! It’s happened. Phil finally got to the point where he HAD to have a Rickenbacker. He’s been practicing on his old Fender Precision Bass for a few months now, and getting better and better, and he’s been searching the internet for a Rickenbacker all this time. But this week he’s been on holiday, went into Newcastle to the guitar shop, had a play on this guitar in the shop….and today… went back and got it! He’s such a happy Bunny! However he has admitted to waking up in the night and thinking…’what am I doing??? Is this a daft midlife crisis moment????....and nearly changed his mind! Am so glad he didn’t, the difference in sound quality between the Fender and the Rick, is amazing, such beautiful tones and resonance, to a hearing professional- well… it’s music to my ears. And it is very photogenic! Beautiful details and gorgeous maple wood. These pics are my first attempts but I will revisit in different lighting situations.
As for me? Today I had to drive 150 miles to Cheshire to Starkey headquarters for a training session on their new products. Learned a lot and am ready to promote these incredible hearing instruments, best I’ve come across yet! Then 150 miles home. A good day ☺
