Good day at work another new client ☺ Phil was on a late and I’ve spent 3 hours trying to get on the internet this evening, finally rebooted damn well everything and am now here, albeit a tad slow. Yay for the reboots of this world ☺

About this photo.. well Phil is going on a model club boys blokey weekend away at 4am in the morning. He was on a late shift tonight so has had to pack up all his tanks for the model show this evening. However, when Phil comes home on a late, usually he goes on the PC and Herky has his tickle time. He wasn’t happy that Phil was ignoring him, so he snuck up on the table and sat on the box with the lid on it. Now, underneath where Herky is so comfortably ensconced, are 8 german WW2 model tanks of varying types, Panzers, Stugs, Tigers etc, and about 5 years work and some of Phil’s best stuff. The box is 20 years old and originally contained equipment for doing a total hip operation. We are very impressed with the 2 boxes and their longevity and strength!!

Sending Phil downstairs now to check Herky’s removed himself and the tanks are still intact.

No screams.
Phew!

I love how this picture reminds me of Land of The Giants, which was my total fave TV programme so many moons ago.

Really chuffed Phil is off on a chaps weekend away, it's just me and him usually at model shows, but I draw the line at getting up at 4am for one!!  It will do him good to have a laugh with the lads cos they ARE really funny when they get going.

Me-I'm off out to a secret location with my flickrchum The Rev, can't say what it is as The Rev pops in to my Blog now and then, so more on that tomorrow.
Ah. Must charge camera battery.

No change re Yoyo.  Damned hard to get antibiotics into a cat that won't eat.  Now mixing them with tuna fish juice from a can, which is all he'll have at the minute.

Have been listening to the Jeremy Vine show on radio 2 all week, and he's done a series where everyday a mum of a soldier killed in Iraq/Afghanistan talks about their son's life and through the music the son loved.  It's been such a poignant series to listen to, ,full of joy and pride and sadness and futility, but mostly, strangely, love of life and the Mum's were just fantastic.  It's on the radio 2 podcast if anyone's interested, it really is worth a listen.
