Bruges ~ again

Bruges ~ again , a photo by fragglerocks on Flickr. it's been so long since I blogged her, having created a weebly site, but I miss this one! I'm doing a 365 photo a day on there I phone over there, but think my other photographs should come here. This one is from a trip to Belgium this month. Hadn't been there before, but Phil was invited to the model show there to do a demonstration of zimmerit techniques (google that!) and we had a fabulous weekend with some lovely people, good to make new friends. More of this story to come.

Herky - back to normal. 10/4/365 , originally uploaded by fragglerocks . Well it’s been an eventful weekend. It was fun at the model show, which I posted about yesterday, but then last night we had our first babysitting of Phil’s 2 month old grandson Matty. He’s a lovely little boy, and slept from 8pm til 2am, had a feed and change, then slept from 3am til 7am, had a feed and change, then slept til 10am. Not much to it really haha. Yoyo didn’t bat an eyelid, nothing phases him, but Herky was not happy at all and disappeared for most of the night. He came in for breakfast at 7 when Phil got up, but then disappeared into the bushes at the back of our front garden! Phil’s son and his wife came over around midday to pick the little fella up, and everything went very well, he survived the night, but we are knackered- didn’t sleep well of course wondering if the baby was Ok!! Have spent the afternoon practicing my course homework, when really I’d have rather gone out somewhere nice to tak

Goodbye my special little guy. 14/11/365 , a photo by fragglerocks on Flickr. I missed taking a photo yesterday because I knew we were going to the vet's with him this morning, so I spent the whole day sitting with him and looking after him. I can't take a pic today either because my eyes won't stop crying. I love him so so much. He brought us such joy and laughter, a little cat with a huge heart and character, but he hasn't been himself for some time, while the tumour grew I suppose, and he went downhill quite fast this week, and we couldn't let him suffer. Anyway, I'm a bit of a mess and Phil's the same, but I wanted to do this, because he's been a great little cat, the best I've ever known, and an absolute star for my camera. Goodbye my special friend.
