Well, my day off from holiday went quite well, sold a CROS system set of aids -this is where someone has one totally deaf ear, and you fit a hearing aid lookalike unit to that ear but really it’s just a microphone, and that unit transmits the sound from the deaf side to the hearing aid in the working ear side, thereby giving someone who is deaf in one ear, surround sound. Love doing these so am pleased.
On to the car- yet another headlamp unit arrived this morning and GUESS WHAT??!! It is the right one yayayay! But it is a used item, (its dirty) and cost twice as much as the brand new headlamp units that don’t fit. Go figure. Anyway back to the garage tomorrow, this is turning into such a soap opera.
Also arrived today, for Phil, a brand new practice amp, a Fender Rumble 75. It’s big. And its now taking up far too much space in my media room!! Phil has an old practice amp in his playroom, but there’s no TV in there so he cant use it for doing his learning and following DVD’s, so this new effort is to be kept downstairs so he can plug in his bass and follow along with the teach yourself slap bass and various other instructional DVD’s he’s purchased. It’s getting well serious!!! Oh well, it keeps him off the streets I suppose haha. AM dreading the day he decides to join a band ☺ ☺ ☺, I’ll have to become a groupie.
