It’s been 6 months since I had anymore than a weekend off, and the last time I painted my nails was Christmas. I’m still a girly girl at heart, and I love all things sparkley. So It’s the beginning of my week off, and I’m going to have sparkley nails for the whole time ☺
This pic is a happy accident really and one of my out-takes, but I liked the way the sparks are jumping off the nails,’ wasn’t the photo I was trying for but I like it better than the one I was!
Had a nice day with Phil today. His daughter Shelley has just gone into labour, but it’s taking ages, she started last night about midnight, has been back and forth to the hospital, but so far no baby! She’s booked in for tomorrow at 8am if nothing happens before then. His son and family came round today, baby Matty is just so cute, and Katie is getting so grown up. Ben arrives tomorrow at 5pm so huge family stuff going on. We’re overwhelmed really, me and Phil are a used to being a small unit lol, not anymore!!
Even though I’m on holiday I have a client to see at 10 am, can’t be helped, but this is what happens to my holidays, bit by bit it’ll get encroached upon, sigh, that’s what happens when you have your own business alone, and you’re conscientious!!! Perhaps I’ll switch my phone off!
Anyway, time to prise Phil away from his bass—he is getting so good at it with all this practice—and an episode of The Soprano’s before bed.
