Orchid 7/6/365

The best things about today-…I got a lot of my book read inbetween client visits. I took some photo’s by the river with my Holga.

Didn’t get to test anyone today as my first prospective client had alzheimers- that’s a no-no, and my next 2 had wax, as the appointments were at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 4pm this left a fair amount of time sitting in carparks with coffee inbetween.. Never mind, you get days like that in my job, tomorrow will be better as I have 3 fittings to do and a test so will be busier.
It’s a good book, am on part 2 of Rome, by M.C.Scott, my favourite authoress, and a 3 part series following on after her Boudicca series, I love the continuity and also her historical research is superb. Well worth checking out dear reader!

I finished up with a service call near South Shields, and took my little Holga the scenic route home so will hopefully have some more films developed soonish. Just got another 5 rolls arrived, I do like the pictures that come out.

The sunset cast my orchid as a shadow on the wall, and I liked how it looked, so I took this shot. I don’t think it’s an awfully good image, but I like how the sunset affects my wallpaper. Actually for photography purposes I’d prefer it if the walls were just painted, preferably in a cream or white, ☺ but Phil’s an old fashioned Northerner so wallpaper it was. I didn’t live here when he moved in- I’m a Janey-come-lately, and really the house is not what I’d have chosen myself, or decorated how I’d have chosen, but I’m not knocking a roof over my head- and it does get some great sunsets!! Anyway I need a shower and some R&R so that’s it for today.
