So our plans for today changed, then changed again, and changed a third time! Originally we were going to have a day out at Aydon Castle, but as time went on, and we were still in bed reading and drinking coffee and tickling the cats, we decided there wasn’t enough time for that so we’d do a bit of bike maintenance and go for a bike ride to Wardley Lake. Just as we’d started the bike stuff, Phil’s daughter Shelly rang to say she was on the way over for a visit, so we put our bike ride on hold and decided to go to the garden centre after she left to sort out some bark for the front garden, and plants for the rear. I don’t have time or the inclination for borders and digging and weeding, so every year I buy 10 – 15 patio pot flowering plants, and leave it at that! ☺ So I’ve planted a fair few different coloured flower plants (all with my macro lens in mind!) bedded them in their pots and watered thoroughly, and am ready for it all to happen!
Got to be more successful than the nobird table!!! ☺ ☺
Now for a yummy Chinese take away and a good movie. Phil at work tomorrow and I’ve got a busy day sorting stuff!
